Scott Burnett is a passionate reining, performance and cowhorse trainer with multiple state and national titles under his belt. Scott prides himself on producing soft, stylish horses that are content in their job and sound in the mind and body.
About this clinic
Date: Saturday the 5th & Sunday the 6th of April
Clinic Schedual:
This clinic will be broken into 2 groups and each group will do 2 sessions per day.
Group one: 8am - 10am
Group two: 10am - 12pm
Lunch break 12pm - 1pm
Group one: 1pm - 2:30pm
Group two 2:30pm - 4pm
A group chat will be made for all particapants so Scott can keep you updated.
Whats covered in this clinic?
- We invite you to a 2-day clinic with Scott where he will teach the fundamentals of reining manoeuvres combined with horsemanship to reach your goal with a willing horse through a program that is focused on reward. The clinic will cover softening and bridling your horse using your legs, lead departures, large fast to small slow rate and speed control, moving hips and shoulders for exercises such as side pass and counter arc, the start to spins, building rollbacks and setting up to correctly and successfully execute a flying lead change.
This is a 100% ridden clinic and is suited to riders who can competently walk, trot and canter and have some basic understanding of body control. Come and enjoy 2 fun days of learning with Scott!

How to book in?

2. We will get in contact with you and send you an invoice.
3. Pay the deposit.
4. Fill in the waiver at the bottom of this page. (will be uploaded soon)
5. Make Final payment by the 1st of April 2025.

Cost per person: $550 (10 spots available)
Cost for fence sitting: $30 per person per day
Terms and conditions:
1. We require a $100 deposit to hold your spot.
2. Final payment must be made in full by the 1st of April 2025.
3. NO REFUNDS will be given under ANY circumstances. However, you may sell your spot to someone else as long as it’s communicated to us.
4. Fence sitting is payable on the day in cash only.
5. Absolutley no dogs or pets other than horses allowed.
6. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
7. You must bring your own over night yard for your horse, as there are no public yards at this time.
